Frank Leanza

Frank M. Leanza is a Partner in the Trusts & Estates practice. Leanza brings extensive
experience in estate planning and administration. As a trustee, he has managed all aspects of trusts & estates for decades.

Prior to joining Winne Banta, Leanza was Senior Vice President, Chief of Legal and Regulatory Affairs for the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. Precluded from private practice during his NJSEA tenure, he did remain active in tax planning and administration as a trustee and executor for many of his former clients. Previously, he had been appointed Commissioner of the New Jersey State Commission of Investigation.

Leanza began his career as a tax consultant with one of the Big Eight accounting firms. Two years later, he became associated with several Bergen County law firms, and in 1984, established Leanza & Agrapidis, providing tax planning and trust and estate administration services to business owners and executives. Over the next 30 years, he developed an expertise in insurance industry products as an integral part of estate planning.

Leanza received a Master of Laws in taxation from the New York University School of Law (1982), and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law (1978). He also has a Master of Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology (1979) and Bachelor of Science from Newark College of Engineering.
