Ivette Vargas

Ivette M. Vargas is an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate and Land Use departments. Ms. Vargas’ experience includes the representation of clients in traditional real estate purchase and sale transactions, as well as assisting clients with business asset purchases and sales; leasing on behalf of landlords and tenants; and the acquisition and disposition of office buildings, hotels, multifamily buildings, warehouses, and shopping centers across New Jersey. Ms. Vargas also effectively analyzes local land use regulations to pinpoint their potential impact on proposed development plans and provides guidance for the creative resolution of land use issues.

Prior to joining Winne Banta, Ms. Vargas worked for a prominent New Jersey law firm where she assisted clients with the purchase, sale, and leasing of residential and commercial properties. Ms. Vargas also gained invaluable experience helping clients navigate and resolve zoning and land use disputes, affordable housing issues, and related litigation.

Ms. Vargas served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mary C. Jacobson, A.J.S.C. (retired), in Mercer County, the Honorable Steven C. Mannion, U.S.M.J. and under the staff of Honorable Freda L. Wolfson, Chief U.S.D.J. in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Vargas uses her diversified professional experience and her “can-do” attitude to provide effective counsel to her clients and to advocate on their behalf.

Ms. Vargas is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, and the Bergen County Bar Association.

Ms. Vargas is fluent in Spanish.
